Tuesday’s Treat: Autumn Bites
Welcome to our Tuesday Treat article of the week! This is where we feature a fun and healthy dog treat recipe for your pup. Today we are excited to feature Autumn Bites. Fall is around the corner and this recipe is packed with all the goodness which will make your house smell amazing. Ingredients
– 1 ¼ cups grated carrots
– 1 ¼ cups quick-cooking oats
– 1 cup grated apple
– ½ cup natural peanut butter
– 2 eggs
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Grab a mixing bowl. Mix carrots, oats, and apple together. Whisk peanut butter and eggs until thoroughly combined in a second bowl. Pour into the oat mixture and stir until thoroughly combined.
- Drop 1 ½ tablespoons of battle onto the prepared baking sheets. Flatten each treat with your hands until they are ½ inch thick.
- Bake in the preheated oven until the treats are firm to touch, usually 15 to 20 minutes.
- Allow to cool a few minutes on the baking sheets.
- It is now time for your dog to ENJOY these treats!
