Tuesday’s Treat: Peanut Butter Pumpkin Bites

Welcome to our Tuesday Treat article of the week. We are excited to teach you how to make a fun, healthy treat for your four-legged friend! On the menu today are Peanut Butter Pumpkin Bites. The greatest thing about this recipe is that it only has three ingredients! It doesn’t get much easier than this. Please share the recipe with friends and family so other dogs can enjoy the treat. What are you waiting on? It’s time to head to the kitchen and start baking!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup of natural peanut butter
  • ½ cup of canned pumpkin puree
  • ¾ cup of oat flour

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Set aside.
  2. Add the peanut butter and pumpkin puree to a medium bowl. Add the oat flour and stir using a wooden spoon or spatula.
  3. Form the dough into a disk shape.
  4. Dust your counter with oat flour and place the dough in the center of the flour. Dust the top of the disk with more oat flour.
  5. Use a rolling pin to roll the dough out, so it is ¼ to ½ inches thick.
  6. Use a cookie cutter (a bone-shaped cutter would be ideal) to cut out as many treats as possible.
  7. Place the treats on the baking sheet.
  8. Bake on the center rack in the oven for 30-35 minutes.
  9. Remove the treats from the oven and let them cool completely.
  10. It is time for your dog to enjoy these tasty treats!

*Store the treats in an airtight container at room temperature for up to one week or in the freezer for up to one month
