Tuesday’s Treat: Chicken & Wild Rice Bites 

Welcome to our Tuesday Treat article of the week. This is where we feature a healthy and easy dog treat recipe for your four-legged friend! Today we are excited to teach you how to make Chicken & Wild Rice Bites. Your dog will absolutely love this savory treat. Be sure to share the recipe with your friends and family so that other dogs can enjoy it as well!

Ingredients 

  • 6 oz. boneless chicken breast
  • ½ cup cooked wild rice
  • ½ cup chicken stock
  • 2 ½ cup wheat flour
  • ¼ tsp. salt
  • 1 egg

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Combine chicken, rice, and chicken stock in a mini food processor or blender until a paste forms.
  3. Add the flour, salt, egg, and chicken paste into a bowl and mix well.
  4. Sprinkle flour on a flat surface and knead dough until it is no longer sticky.
  5. Roll it out with a rolling pin about ½ inch thick.
  6. Cut out shapes and place them on a parchment paper lined baking sheet. You should have around 30 biscuits.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes until light brown. Remove from oven and allow to cool completely.
  8. Your dog is now ready to ENJOY these tasty treats!

Keep these treats in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.
