Summer Fruits & Vegetables for Your Dog 

We all know summer is the best time for fresh fruit and vegetables! Enjoying these healthy snacks with your four-legged friend is so much fun. Below is a list of summer fruits and vegetables that are safe for your dog to eat.

Raspberries – This fruit contains antioxidants that strengthen the immune system.

Peaches – This fruit improves digestion and decreases inflammation.

Blueberries – This fruit is a favorite for many dogs! Blueberries improve urinary health and protect against cancer.

Cantaloupe – This fruit contains vitamin A, niacin, and potassium.

Apples – This fruit is served in a variety of ways. You can serve apples raw, baked, or pureed.

Carrots – This vegetable is high and fiber and contains many vitamins. Fun fact: raw carrots clean and freshen breath for healthier mouths.

Spinach – This vegetable is high in vitamin A, vitamin C, vitamin E, and vitamin K. Keep in mind that spinach should be cooked when fed to your dog as raw spinach contains oxalate, inhibiting calcium absorption.

Green Beans – This vegetable is low in calories and high in fiber.
