Signs Your Dog has YOU Trained
Do you ever feel like your dog has taken over your life? We don’t want that to sound like a bad thing! Maybe it is because your dog has you trained. Below are some signs that your dog holds the leash in the relationship.
- You may not spend a lot of money on yourself, but the sky is the limit with your dog! You want nothing but the best for your pup and you are willing to spend more and more to make them happy. You do not have a problem cutting out a few luxuries from your own budget to ensure that your pup has all the extras in life.
- Your free time is focused on your dog! Your daily schedule revolves around your four-legged friend. On the other hand, if you make time to get together with family and friends, you often choose a pet-friendly location so the dog can join in on the fun.
- Your dog gives you commands! Have you trained your dog to paw at the door or ring a bell when they need to go potty? Maybe they do this when all they want is some outdoor entertainment. So, really, it is you who has been trained!
- Your dog is the only one getting beauty sleep! Do you have a dog who takes over the entire mattress…and you let them? As uncomfortable as you are, you try not to move as it may disturb your dog’s sleep.
- You spend more time managing your dog’s online presence than your own! Do you have a separate Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter account for your four-legged friend? This is another sign that your dog has trained you.
Did any of these signs catch your attention? It’s not a bad thing that your dog has trained you. After all, you want to ensure that they live their best life. It’s just that sometimes they must hold the leash too!
