Tuesday’s Treat: Doggie Chicken Nuggets

Ingredients
- One baked chicken breast
- One baked sweet potato
- One cup of cooked carrots
- One tablespoon of distilled vinegar
- ½ tablespoon of raw honey
- ¼ teaspoon of salt
- One teaspoon of olive oil
- One cup of oats
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 225 degrees.
- Scoop the inside of a cooked sweet potato and put it in a large bowl.
- Add cooked carrots and mash the two ingredients with a fork or potato masher.
- Add the vinegar, honey, salt, and olive oil. Stir well.
- Shred the baked chicken breast and add to the mixture.
- Add the oats. Make sure that the mixture is blended entirely by using your hands to knead it.
- Allow the batter to sit for five minutes to expand the oats.
- Spoon into a small muffin tin, filling each ¾ full.
- Bake at 225 degrees for two hours and 15 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and flip each chicken nugget over. Bake for one more hour.
- Take the chicken nuggets out of the oven and allow them to cool completely.
- It is time for your dog to enjoy this tasty treat!
*Store the chicken nuggets in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
