Tuesday’s Treat: Holiday Mint Cookies

Ingredients 

  • One cup of whole wheat flour
  • One cup of baking mix (Jiffy or Bisquick)
  • Five drops of mint flavoring
  • ¼ cup of milk
  • Two tablespoons of margarine
  • One egg
  • One teaspoon of corn syrup

Instructions 

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Mix all ingredients in a large bowl.
  3. Roll out onto a floured surface to ¼ inch thick.
  4. Cut with bone-shaped or holiday cookie cutters and position on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes until lightly browned.
  6. Remove the treats from the oven and allow them to cool completely.
  7. It is now time for your dog to ENJOY!
