Tuesday’s Treat: Oatmeal Peanut Butter & Blueberry Bites
Welcome to our Tuesday Treat article of the week. This is where we feature a fun and healthy treat recipe for your four-legged friend! We are excited to teach you how to make Oatmeal Peanut Butter & Blueberry Bites today. This is an amazing recipe that will have your kitchen smelling awesome in NO TIME!!! Ingredients
- 1 ½ cups old fashioned oats (uncooked)
- 2/3 cup natural peanut butter
- 1 large egg
- ¼ cup plain Greek yogurt
- ¼ cup frozen blueberries
- 1 tbsp. raw honey (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Blend all ingredients in a food processor until the mixture is well combined.
- Press the dough between two sheets of wax paper and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
- Roll out the dough into a flat disc about 1/2 “ thick.
- Use a cookie cutter to cut out the dog treats. Be sure to roll up the leftover dough until all of the mixture is gone!
- Place the treats onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake the treats for 12-15 minutes, until slightly golden brown along the edges.
- Cool completely.
- It is now time for your dog to ENJOY these tasty treats!
*You can store the treats in a container or plastic bag for up to 5 days.
