Tuesday’s Treat: Beef Broth Biscuits
Welcome to our Tuesday Treat article of the week. This is where we feature a fun and easy recipe for your four-legged friend. Today we are excited to teach you how to make Beef Broth Biscuits! Your dog will absolutely love this treat. Be sure to share the recipe with your friends and family so that other dogs can try it as well!
Ingredients
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 1/3 cup corn meal
- 1 Tbsp oil
- 1/4 cup low sodium beef broth
- 1 egg
- 1/8 cup milk
- 1 additional egg (for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease a baking sheet.
- Whisk together whole wheat flour and cornmeal.
- Add oil, broth, egg, and milk. Mix until thoroughly combined.
- Place dough on a lightly floured surface and roll out until dough is ¼” thick.
- Cut the dough into shapes using a cookie cutter or pizza cutter. Transfer cookies onto your baking sheet. Continue the process until all dough is used.
- Brush the beaten egg onto cookies before going into the oven. Bake for 20-30 minutes or until golden brown. Place on a cooling rack to cool.
- Your dog is now ready to ENJOY these tasty treats!
