Tuesday’s Treat: Easy Bacon Fat Bites

These treats are so tasty; your dog will love them because they contain bacon fat. This recipe is for you if you have leftover bacon fat. Ingredients

1 ½ cups of whole wheat flour

½ cup of melted bacon fat

½ cup wheat germ

one large egg

½ cup of cold water

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and mix it by hand until a dough forms. You may add additional flour if the dough is too sticky.

Place the dough on a lightly floured surface and roll it out.

Grab your favorite cookie cutter (a dog bone would be cute). Cut out shapes.

Place the cookies on the baking sheet.

Bake for 20 minutes.

Remove the treats from the oven and let them cool completely.

It is time for your dog to enjoy the treats!
