Tuesday’s Treat: Doggie Pupcake
Welcome to our Tuesday Treat article of the week. We are excited to teach you how to make a fun, and healthy treat for your four-legged friend! On the menu today is the Doggie Pupcake. This is a wonderful treat to celebrate a special occasion for your dog – a birthday, graduating from obedience school, or learning a new trick! Ingredients
- Three tablespoons of pumpkin puree
- Three tablespoons of peanut butter
- Three tablespoons of oats
- One egg
- ½ teaspoon of baking powder
- Three tablespoons of whipping cream (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
- Place one or two paper liners into a muffin pan. The recipe makes one large pupcake or two medium pupcakes!
- Whisk together pumpkin, peanut butter, and oats in a bowl.
- Mix in the egg and baking powder until incorporated.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes.
- Remove the treats from the oven and cool completely.
- Use the whipping cream to frost the cupcakes if desired.
- It is time for your dog to ENJOY the pupcake!
