Tuesday’s Treat: Apple Crunch Pupcakes
Welcome to Tuesday Treat Day! Today we are excited to feature a delicious treat that your dog will go crazy over: Apple Crunch Pupcakes. This is the perfect treat for a doggie birthday celebration, after graduating from training class or even just because. Ingredients
- 2 ¾ cups water
- ¼ cup unsweetened applesauce
- 2 tbsp (we suggest local!)
- 1/8 tbsp vanilla extract
- 1 medium egg
- 4 cups whole wheat (or almond) flour
- 1 cup unsweetened dried apple chips
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- Cinnamon (your preference)
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
- Mix water, applesauce, honey, cinnamon, egg and vanilla in a bowl
- Add remaining ingredients and mix until well blended
- Pour into lightly greased muffin pans
- Bake for 60 to 75 minutes until golden brown
- Treat your pup!
