Spotlight Breed Valley Bulldog

Spotlight Breed: Valley Bulldog

Welcome to our Spotlight Breed article of the week. This is where we feature a fun and unique dog breed from around the world! We are excited to spotlight the Valley Bulldog today. This dog is a mixed breed – a cross between the Boxer and English Bulldog breeds. Medium in size while being active and loyal, these dogs inherited some amazing qualities from their parents. It is also good to know that the Valley Bulldog is also known as the Bull Boxer.

You may be wondering about the appearance of this breed. They can either look like a taller version of an English Bulldog or a shorter version of a Boxer. Regardless, this type of dog has a muscular, sturdy build with a thick neck and a very broad chest. They have rounded eyes and their snouts are usually pushed in like the English Bulldog or stuck out like the Boxer. Colors include various brindles, white with brindle or any mixture of brindle, white, black, fawn, red, or tan. You may even discover that the Valley Bulldog has an extreme underbite!

Let’s talk about the temperament of the breed. They have an amazing temperament and can get along great with other breeds and humans (including strangers and children). One of the most interesting things about the Valley Bulldog is that they can be very calm and gentle and suddenly act silly and playful. It just takes a matter of minutes for them to switch their mood! The breed is also very intelligent and can be taught many things quite easily.

Living conditions are simple with the Valley Bulldog. They do not need a whole lot of space inside the house because they are not a huge breed. Therefore, they can do great in most living spaces – small house or apartment to a larger house. However, they are very active indoors at times! The Valley Bulldog needs daily exercise. A brisk, long walk will do. Keep in mind that they have Boxer in them so they can be very active.

We hope that you learned a little more about the Valley Bulldog. If you are looking for a fun, intelligent, and strong breed, then the Valley Bulldog may be for you! They would be a great addition to any family.
