We understand that it’s a lot of fun to play with a dog. However, it can be exhausting too! Do not have any shame in adopting a “lazy” dog. Some people just want to spend less time outside and more time laying on the couch with their best four-legged friend! Are you looking for the most ideal couch potato companion? English Bulldog – These dogs love to lounge around with their owners! Just think about it. They have a short, pushed-in nose and cannot do strenuous exercise.

Cavalier King Charles Spaniel – This breed wants nothing more than to spend time with its owners and give lots of kisses.

Bichon Frise – These dogs will get short bursts of energy followed by a very long nap. This is one of the lazy dog breeds that will require a few short walks during the day.

Japanese Chin – These dogs are always up for a nice cuddle session on the couch!

Dachshund – This breed enjoys walks, but a session of indoor fetch is enough to provide adequate exercise. They are highly interested in consuming treats and napping a lot of the time.

Boston Terrier – This breed can adapt to any living situation. As they are sometimes called, Bostons are often found by their owner’s side with a chew toy.

Maltese – This is a great social lap dog that is ideal for apartment dwellers and have very minimal exercise needs.
